Non traditional family pics

This year for our family pictures I decided to change our outfits up a bit. I figured that since Justin is leaving for his mission in a few short days...*sniff.... that our pictures should somehow reflect this big event. It seemed to me, with J being a missionary now, that we as a family are considered a missionary family. Especially if Cody ends up leaving on his mission before J gets home from his. So, of course, my wacky brain started cranking out some fun ideas for picture outfits and poses. In the end, we ended up with this fun family picture. It was funny when we walked into the photo studio and everyone kept staring at us. I really wished we had brought along those pass along cards for the church. It would have indeed been an awesome missionary experience. I really hope that we don't have to wait 4 years to have another family picture. But, if that is the case, we are happy to have this on the wall for that long.
