Cry Baby

Ok, so I cried today! Not because it is the last day of school, but for me it is the last day of elementary...*sniff, sniff. Carli thought I was nuts as I was driving her to school this morning, tearing up about it being the last time waving at the crossing guard, the last time pulling up to the elementary school, and the last time watching her walk across the school yard. Yep, as I was watching her head to her class line, I was in full blown sobs. I really couldn't walk up with her this morning cuz I am not a pretty crier. I get the red runny nose, and I can't help but gasp between sobs. I know, I know, I'm a big cry baby...but I hold a lot of great, and sometimes not so great memories with John Dooley Elementary. All four of my kids attended this wonderful school going through 4 different Principals, some we loved, and some...well I better not open that old wound. However this current Principal we really liked. Today hit me like a rock, but I am sure that there will be more bumps in the road that I will hit in this life raising my wonderful children. Let's just not talk about when they all leave home...oh no...here come the tears again!

  1. I told you, if you ever need a "little" kid fix, I have plenty of them. And if you are that anxious to drive kids to Dooley, I could work something out for you! :)

  3. You wanna drive my kids to school?? :) Also, don't feel too bad-- I cry over EVERYTHING! This last week I cry every time I sneeze, laugh, trip on things...you get the idea. I'm not a pretty crier either. I get these awful red splotches on my face and my nose swells up.
