This year for Memorial Day, we went to Rob & Liz's house (Lonney's brother) to swim and for a BBQ. The kids had a blast swimming and even Lon got in to soak his sore ankle. I however, designated myself as official photo taker therefore I chose not to go swimming...really everyone else there doesn't know how lucky they really are by my decision. ;) The hamburger and hot dogs were provide and all the sides were brought by those who attended. We decide to cut up potatoes and make homemade french fries...hmmm, that was such a good idea at the time, until we actually got there and my fryer decided to die on me after only one batch of fries. Liz brought out hers for us to use which was a lifesaver! Lonney said it was really too bad that Mother's Day had past...so I told him it's a good thing that Father's Day is coming up! Wanna guess what he is getting for Father's Day??? You got it! A beautiful brand knew Fryer! What I wouldn't give to have the potato cutter like In-n-Outs!
fun fun fun times!! love that first official 3 day weekend of summer...okay, maybe the calendar hasn't officially said summer has arrived but the temps sure have! :)
