Sock Hop

Yesterday was Carli's 5th grade sock hop at school. The committee that was in charge this year did a fantastic job with the food, decorating, games & prizes, and having a live DJ for the music...not all was in the 50 era, alot was current music from today and yes, some that shouldn't have been played at all! One song was about pole dancing and with the rapper singing it so fast you have to listen closely to hear the words. So as I am shaking my head and telling my sister and a couple of the moms what the song was about, the song started and whose child yells out "This is my jam"!? Yep, that would be Carli...I about fell over dead!!!
