Back to school already???

I can NOT believe that the summer has gone by so fast that I never got my list of things I wanted to get done with before school starts. I really thought I had all summer to come to terms with having my baby going to Jr. High this school year. Well, I haven't got use to the idea! It actually makes my stomach turn thinking about Brooke being in High school. She is absolutely lovin it, and I'm remember the things I pulled in High school and truly want to throw up. That's my little girl who is so young and innocent. Ok, so maybe I am fooling myself that she won't come close to the things I did at her age, but a mom can dream right??? I am in no way admitting to ANYTHING!!! I just wish that I could turn back the clock in time and whisk them back to when they were just toddlers. I know, it sounds crazy to those who still have toddlers, but I do wish that. I remember having a lady tell me once, that I should enjoy the years that the kids are little because it all changes when they start school, sports, driving, dating, etc... I thought, yeah right, I can't wait until so and so starts school to have one less child to contend with. I did a lot of the I can't wait til they... So yep, I would do it all over again in a heart beat! I keep telling myself that I will just have to wait for grandkids to get my baby fix/toddler fix. Of course, after my kids have finished college, and have a career established. Like I said, I can dream right? But until then...I will just have to keep annoying the moms in church by stealing their newborns to hold and playing with the toddlers during sacrament meeting.

  1. Aunt Julie, I love you're posts. They just make me smile. I know I can't believe how fast your kids have grown. Enjoy these next few months when they all are still at home. I remember my Mom just thriving on the time we were all together before D left. Love you Deary!
